Hi

if the FFT grids are 1-d decomposed it is along the x direction.
Unfortunately, it seems that we never installed a keyword to
set the 1/2-d distribution from the input.

Subject: [CP2K:4180] Decomposition of Fourier Grids

Dear CP2K developers and users:
Thanks for your attention. I saw a document online "CP2K: parallel algorithms". This document introduces that the FFT grid can be decomposed in 1-D (<256 core) and 2-D (>256 core). Is it possible for me to force cp2k decompose the FFT grid in 2-D for less than 256 core? Further more, it seems that in 1-D, the FFT grids is decomposed along x-axis, am I correct~?
Best
