not similar. but it looks that some recent changes break the
the collection of intel compilers that i have on my machine in
various ways. i'm seeing a 'nice' collection of internal compiler
errors. :-(

only g95 seems to be unaffected. i guess it is time again to
look for updates or file a bug report to intel.
