what compiler/OS are you using? does it happen only in parallel?
i'm seeing massive memory leaks in parallel runs on the cray xt3
with all pgi compilers up to 7.0.4, but it seems to work fine with
intel 9.0 (plus updates) on a local cluster running linux x86_64
