Dear Sun,
1. 157 is not an immense number, and your system seems to move toward
convergence -- it is possible that you get your system converged just by
keeping the program working.
2. Is it your first optimization step? The next ones should converge
better. Even if SCF is not fully converged in the 1st step, it still can
produce reasonable structure for the 2nd step which should converge
better (sometimes it is the only method if your initial geometry is
intrinsically poor).
3. Your energy mostly oscillates within 10-4 -- 10-5 Eh changing dE from
+ to - and vice versa. I would consider reducing ALPHA.
4. You told nothing about the nature of your system. E.g. if it is
metallic phase, you can benefit from Kerker mixing with, say, BETA 1.5.
