Number form in SUBSYS

Hi eft rsd,

The testing is trivial - you can do it in a few seconds on a desktop 
computer with the serial code. 

I've attached the output that is printed from the code where is displays 
the coordinates it has parsed. 

I'll leave you to check that it's consistent, but from a quick look, I'm 
confident that it's good.
