compiling libsmm

Hi,

I am trying to compile libsmm library for CP2K, by command

./generate -c config/linux.gnu -t 48 -w none tiny1

but I always get the following error message:
....
Generate master file output_linux.intel/tiny_find_1_1_1__24_24_24.f90
make: execvp: /bin/sh: Argument list too long
make: *** [output_linux.intel/tiny_find_1_1_1__24_24_24.f90] Error 127
make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....

Using linux.lintel gives the same error message.
The computer does not have Intel Xeon Phi card, I wonder if it matters?
