Hello again, Thanks for the help. I updated from cvs as recommended but the problem persisted, but then I got to the hint in http://wiki.astro.ex.ac.uk/bin/view/Zen/MklLapack (it seems that for the latest mkl one must link with -lmkl_core option) and everything worked. Cheers, guille
