Dear all,

just for the records, I got the same problem on the Opteron Cluster here:
cpp -traditional -C -D__PGI -D__FFTSG -D__FFTW3 -P
-D__COMPILE_ARCH="\"Linux-x86-64-pgi\"" -D__COMPILE_DATE="\"Wed Dec 17

-D__COMPILE_LASTCVS="\"D/lib////\""

/users/sassy/build/src/cp2k/cp2k/makefiles/../src/particle_types.F >
particle_types.f90
pgf90 -Mfree -c -I/users/sassy/build/fftw3/pgf90/include -O2 -fastsse
-tp amd64 particle_types.f90

$> pgf90 -V

pgf90 7.2-5 64-bit target on x86-64 Linux -tp k8-64e

So it seems, as Axel suggested, a more 'generic' PGI problem.

If I could get the patch I might be able to try the build as well, or
has it been already included in the CVS?

FYI: I am not exceedinly keen on the PGF, but I don't have a licence for
the Intel Fortran Compiler, so I have to stick with what I have.

Just my 2 pennies :-)

Best wishes from a rainy Glasgow

Jörg
