hang in write_restart with IB

Hi:

CP2K hangs in write_restart (found using the TRACE).  When I comment
write_restart, the code runs without incident.
Question:  Any reason for this?!  Compiler, Libs, etc... Here are the
specs on the cluster:

Kernel: 2.6.9-42 x86_64 (RHEL 4 U4)
IB Boards: Mellanox CA type: MT25208 (MT23108 compat mode)
OFED: 1.1
MPI: MVAPICH-0.9.8 built for gen2 single rail
Compiler: Intel 9.1 (C version 042, Fortran version 036)
